Ancient Royal Resting Grounds

Ancient tombs dot the cliffs in Turkey, majestic scenic resting places for the wealthiest celebs of a long ago era. How the tombs were carved is a wonder in itself, high enough to give the dead a headstart to heaven (although these people lived hundreds of years B.C.). Or perhaps they rested there enjoying the view and marveling at the loot buried with them. The Tomb of Aminthas is the most prominent and famous of the ones near Fethiye and we enjoyed exploring there twice, the second time with friends visiting during spring break.
